I'm going to be finishing University at the end of the year and I'm not sure what to do. I like programming and computer science but never really put much effort into Uni because I wasn't really too interested in the theory, but I persevered and will end up with a degree at the end of the year with average grades.

I have projects that I have worked on throughout my time at Uni, none are overly successful but they show I can produce good code and a product that works.

Unfortunately the focus of most employers is my grades and not my work which is fair enough but sucks because I learnt alot more building my own websites and programs than I did at uni.

I have sent out alot of emails to people trying to get a job but everyone is looking for experience at other companies or uni grades. I'm not sure what the best approach is.
