Unlikely. At least, if it is true that the site was hacked, it's unlikely that this is the official announcement. See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=33646.msg420489#msg4...

The thread seems to end with the conclusion that the poster is not the real owner of Mybitcoin.com, and that the whole thing is a prank/hoax.
