AWS Reporting AWS Internet Connectivity Issues in US-West-2

https://status.aws.amazon.com/ is showing the event. A few minutes before they acknowledged it our Fargate-based apps went offline.

We were in the middle of a large release and started seeing errors left and right. Totally appropriate :)

Now they are also reporting ELB operation issues in the region.

  Increased provisioning latencies
  [11:46 AM PDT] We are investigating connectivity, provisioning, and target registration issues for load balancers in the US-WEST-2 Region.

Hmmm... Auth0 noted issues as well at that time. I wonder if the two are related.

I am seeing DNS problems too
