Anyone else think bringing on a 10 year veteran of eBay support is a bad idea. I don't know of a single case in which I heard eBay helped the end user in support. eBay is probably on the top 5 of worst customer support experiences of any dot com.

I thought the same thing. I cannot think of a company that more flagrantly demonstrates their disdain for customers every day more than eBay.

Google's support is legendary. And not in a good way.

It doesn't matter if you're gay. You don't need to reassure us of that.

Post-merger, there were some really nice reviews of culture clashes; one I recall was simply stated as "Ebay believes people are fundamentally good, Paypal believes they are fundamentally scammers."

Credible, given their histories, I'd say!
