#13Seems like a pretty good response to the situation, especially the host insurance, 24-hour customer service, and improved guest verification. For Brian Chesky's sake I hope the SFPD actually have a suspect in custody this time.

Those articles were killed because they essentially added nothing new to a tired plethora of similar or same articles.

The point of that article was more that this had hit CNN than any new information about the event itself. Pretty meta, but not unreasonable.
And from http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=2834426 I hear that EJ's story was also retitled to be less enticing.
Sounds like some nice double-standard going on here, considering this one maintains its title. I'm sure it will be blamed on "the gremlins in the automated system"... funny how they seem to favour YC startups in the middle of a big funding round.
