Well your employer probably doesn't want you to leak work to competitors. You probably don't want your employer to know that you have cancer, are hiding a fling, and could soon have family problems requiring you to take a leave of absence.

I agree! So why are you letting third parties get that information without you having any ability to provide or decline consent?
