Edit: I'm mentioning this, because I recognized a photo of a settlement (Grytviken) [2] in the article. The island is part of the story.

#4Can somebody write an alternate reality series where UK gifts SG&SS islands to HKers who want freedom more than they dislike cold, and they build a new futuristic city there? Easy trade with Argentina. Middle of nowhere is not a problem in an Internet-connected world. No inhabitants to object. Better check water sources for that rat poison though…

I also recommend "Shackleton" [1] as a good drama with a quality cast that tries to keep as close as possible to Alfred Lansing's book
