MGNR | Lead DevOps Engineer | Full-time | Remote (worldwide)

MGNR is a small, very successful proprietary trading firm. Our fully-automated trading system executes hundreds of thousands of transactions every day, totaling billions of dollars in volume. Our team (currently 10) is fully distributed in six countries and came together over the past two years. Our tech stack is a microservices architecture in a mix of Python 3 and Rust, mostly running on AWS.

We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to take ownership of everything performance and tooling at the company. The role will consist of two aspects:

(i) War on latency: use every trick in the playbook to improve the speed with which our system reacts to information. Configure network topology, software and hardware to minimize our reaction time across all percentiles. Build the instrumentation necessary to monitor our system performance, identify bottlenecks, and squash them.

(ii) Tooling: design and implement CI/CD pipeline to enable our engineers to deploy better quality software with a shorter iteration cycle.

Desired skill set: Cloud (ideally AWS) expertise, strong understanding of Linux OS and TCP/UDP/IP network stack, containers, CI/CD best practices.

Competitive salary and bonus, flexible work hours, no customers to please, result-driven no-bullshit tight knit team, flat structure, no commute, lots to love.

Reach out to devops mgnr.io if interested!

Eat This Much enables you to put your diet on autopilot. You tell us about your goals, budget, and schedule, and we generate a complete meal plan and grocery list to help you reach those goals.

Our company is centered around a set of algorithms that can automatically plan a user's meals, and we're constantly looking for ways to speed them up, improve the recommendations, and more accurately optimize on the user's nutrition targets.

Streak | Senior Frontend Engineer | REMOTE (north america timezones)

https://www.streak.com/careers/product-engineer

Streak is CRM for your inbox. Most business users have inboxes that are filled with emails to do with various processes they work on - sales, hiring, fundraising, deals & support. Streak is built right into Gmail where those workflows are already happening.

Lead a small and high performing frontend engineering team at Streak. We work on highly technical projects (like a performant spreadsheet that can render millions of cells). You’ll own projects from start to finish and learn how to ship high quality software. Our team has an outsized impact given its size - millions of dollars of profit per engineer and the ability to improve the lives of millions of Gmail users without actually working at, ahem, a large bureaucratic company.

Flux | Engineers + Product Designer | REMOTE | Full-time | https://www.Flux.ai

At Flux, we’re making for hardware what Figma made for design. Our intuitive, real-time, web-based collaboration platform will take hardware design to the future. The problem is that electronics prototyping and design workflows haven’t had innovation in decades. We believe our first product will change that in a big way.

To take Flux to the next level, we are looking for talented Engineers, a DevOps Lead, and a Product Designer. We are a fully remote company, started by people from FB, Apple, and NASA. We’re well funded by Silicon Valley’s best and brightest investors to take on this huge opportunity. We have some seats on the rocket ship and would love to have you!

Senior Engineer(s) - Experience with React with Material-UI, Three.js with WebGL, Typescript, Netifly, Google Firebase, Google Cloud Functions, AWS S3, Algolia, PubNub

DevOps and QA Lead - Experience with RainforestQA, Jest with Typescript, Circleci, Sentry, Google Lighthouse, Netlify, Github

Product Designer - Experience designing products that have shipped to thousands of users. We look forward to seeing your awesome portfolio!

SignalWire | Software Engineers | FULLY REMOTE

SignalWire is a 100% fully remote company founded by the creators of the number-one open source communication platform in the world. Our unique domain expertise allows us to rapidly develop and support scalable, easy to use communications APIs with a tight-knit engineering team. SignalWire offers engineers the opportunity to build new services and systems critical to the success of a dynamic, fast-growing company -- to push forward the boundaries of communication and grow their career as SignalWire grows.

In SignalWire engineering, we believe in pushing down responsibility and ownership to the teams that create and maintain the services. We follow a Kanban agile process. We keep distractions at a minimum- often only a single 10-15 minute daily standup is scheduled. The engineering team idles in our in-house video system which allows for spontaneous discussions to form with very little friction; much like work in a physical office.
