Anything 4+ stars with 1k+ reviews should be good - most adverts coming from random (and new) 3rd party recruiters outside the companies themselves. not sure what you mean, you are always an employee anyway, smaller company doesn't guarantee that you will be treated any differently

I've worked in both and bigger companies definitely take better care of their employees in my opinion

I should've clarified - higher than average advertised salaries are almost always a bait and switch in my limited experience.
