Show HN: German Noun Genders

While I was learning German, one of my biggest pain point is to memorise the genders of nouns. Are you learning German? Are you struggling with the genders of nouns? If yes, this extension will help you like it helped me.

Every time you open a new tab, you'll be shown a German noun along with its meaning and gender. Each word will have a relevant image and the background will be color coded according to the gender of the word.

1. Extension because I want people to get exposed to these words and genders involuntarily. If it is a web-page, the user has to voluntarily go to that webpage to consume this.

2. Even in India, where I am from, pink is generally considered feminine. However I feel that this stereotype is non-inclusive so I didn't want to conform to that. Hence the choice of green color for the feminine gender.

3. I agree there is no neuter symbol. Having three symbols was a bit cluttered so I decided to skip it. I was hoping that the masculine and feminine nouns would be sufficient to convey the message.
