#2If you're living in China and b/vlogging about it, you pretty much have to toe the official line. Two of the most famous vloggers self-censored themselves extensively, but not enough, and had to flee China on very short notice:

Of course, this doesn't excuse getting paid for posting about how Xinjiang is all just unicorns pooping rainbows, like these jokers in the BBC article.
