According to the github post [1] there was an attempt on his life with a knife. All kinds of police involved now.
The github post was flagged on HN for an unknown reason.

#7Why would anyone in particular 4chan care about this fork? It's like 20 commits (but apparently 20 weeks of drama) ahead of audacity and you already need a decoder ring to read this thread.

Yes. He article mentions a butterfly knife and someone breaking into his property.

#10These are serious allegations. Allegations of such seriousness should require proof of equally serious merit before conclusions are drawn. Also, why does it seem this particular website or sites like Reddit become personified through action whereas Facebook, YT, Video Games etc don’t? We don’t say “a crazy person from counter strike” we say, “a crazy person playing X or Y game”.
The framing here to this story is strange to me.
