#3Sort of sounds like a commercial alternative to thermal sheeting and camouflage net over chicken wire, which is something that's often used at the moment but is extraordinarily heavy, especially for dismounted combat.

Sure, it is made of "advanced polymers". In other words it is one of those thermal blankets painted to look like a rock.
