It's amusing reading all the leftist comments here.

Imagine being so fragile as to believe that anyone who agrees with the objective truth that Trump and his ilk are proto-fash trash must be a radical leftist and your sworn enemy. Get your head out of the propaganda machine's bunghole.

The vast majority of the population are NPCs awaiting their automatic firmware updates. You sound like you're fully up to date, godspeed.

I wish I had any kind of celebrity in the right wing. Like Jason Miller will probably be set for retirement off of this one stunt, maybe he can even write a book and go on tour. People from these circles basically have a direct line to the wallet of most people over 50 in America; anyone have ideas for how we can get in on this hustle?

Step 1, for the highest likelihood of success, is to get into the circle of someone pretty high-up the chain already, or otherwise to get someone with an audience to hand you a megaphone, metaphorically speaking. Beware that navigating your way up that chain may be... cut-throat, and you're more likely to end up overworked and exploited or tossed aside for convenience than joining others on the good side of the grift.

Otherwise, invent a character you think right-wingers would like and play the character on YouTube or similar. See how it goes. Low-cost, might work.

I don't think your stereotypes reflect reality. People 45 and older are statistically ambivalent on Trump - about 50% of them voted for Trump, 50% didn't. The same holds true when you look at just 65+ people: https://www.cnn.com/election/2020/exit-polls/president/natio...

I haven't seen someone use "NPCs" unironically in this context since...2018? I thought it was just used now to make fun of how unoriginal the right is.

Do you still say "cuck" too?!

> The app, which is in beta testing, appears in the Apple App Store and is described as “a non-bias social network for people all over the world.” Reminds me of this koan: In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6. “What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, a…

Side note, but what's with the trend of people saying/spelling "biased" as "bias"? Is it just because the "-sed" in "biased" kind of blends together when pronounced / is awkward to clearly separate, so eventually some people just think that's what the word is? (I know a lot of words across many/all languages develop that way, so not really complaining, but when you're in the midst of it it feels a bit weird.)

It's exactly that. Lack of understanding the structure of the language. Same as "should of" - it is learning language by ear rather than by reading (or by underlying principle).

Ah yes, Jason Miller: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/business/business-news/giz...

Summary of the allegation for anyone who doesn't want to click: >The court filing in question stated that Delgado had been informed that Miller had an affair with a “Jane Doe”; that this other woman became pregnant; that shortly thereafter, Miller visited the woman’s apartment with a smoothie; and that unbeknownst to Jane Doe, the smoothie contained an abortion pill, which induced an abortion. >Krueger’s article read…

ah, so he's a real republican. Holier than thou in public, worse than the devil in private.
