AWS has acquired many companies in the past. Off the top of my head, Biba (turned into Chime), Elemental, Cloud9, Annapurna, CloudEndure…I’m sure there’s more.

Alexa is basically 3 tech acquisitions glued together. Ivona (TTS), Evi (Knowledge graph), and Yap (speech recognition).

You forgot Alexa.com, for both the product and the name. (in mindshare at least)
