I’m really not trying to be too snarky, but with the labor market as it is in 2021, 10 interviews in a month is achievable by merely possessing a pulse. What am I missing?

#14All of this seems a bit dubious to me considering your previous description of having simply scraped and mass-emailed all the hiring managers on Crunchbase, and Apple employees don't (I don't think) tend to use icloud email addresses that they're comfortable publishing as a point of contact for a testimonial. https://twitter.com/KareemAbukhadra/status/13280678353236254... Is this just a funnel into that process or ha…
1. RE icloud email: That's his personal icloud email so it's unassociated with Apple.
2. RE is this a funnel into the tweet thread: Nope. I do think that's a really good strategy but doesn't tend to work for the best companies.
The main difference with this new approach is we write super tailored messages for you and go for decision makers, whereas the crunchbase approach I published is non-personalized and targets generic company email addresses.
Does that make sense?

#15It’s a survey that asks you your name, what kind of job you want, how much you want to make, and whether you have more or less than one year available for your job search. Then it says someone will get back to you.

#16I’m intrigued but is this a staffing service? Do candidates or companies pay for your services?
In the future, I'll start helping businesses too.
Re: Show HN: Land 10 interviews a month with 0 effort
#17“Land 10 interviews in a month with 0 effort” gives me pause, because even though “the grind” of getting a new job is annoying, there’s an understanding that results take effort. This tagline reads more like a scam for me and I go into it with that first impression.
The idea is the candidate puts 0 time and effort in.
My team does A LOT on the back end.
I should probably make this clearer from the landing page.
Does that make sense?

#19The site doesn’t really tell me much. Is this a service I have to pay for? A membership? Do you only accept a certain type of applicant profile?
These questions are super helpful for telling me what to optimize - thank you for the feedback.

#20It’s not clear what the requirements are for being accepted. I’m assuming each candidate is vetted before they get help. For example, is this targeted at software engineers, or any type of professional? What’s the price of the service? If a software engineer applies, are only certain levels accepted, ie senior engineers or those with some minimum years of experience? Do you work with junior engineers? It sounds like…
I've worked with people with 0-15 years of experience across completely different roles and industries.
I look for yes's to the following questions (as well as a few others):
1. Is this person competent in their target role? 2. Does this person lack a sales and marketing background (this costs you a few months more of job searching, lower offers, etc.)? 3. Does this person lack time and energy (e.g. if you're full-time at a company, you probably don't have the time to apply to jobs)? 4. Does this person value their time a lot? (Landing interviews can take several hours a month - some people would rather spend that time in other places).
