I could see the networking costs become astronomical, but then again, they already have image search.

I struggle to imagine this being a nice user experience, but I'm prepared to be proven wrong I suppose

The wording on the page implies this [1], but to verify: this is very, very old. A Wikimedia traffic analysis report from 2012 has this page listed [2].

Didn't Google use to have this? But they were forced to remove it.

I might be in the minority but I'd still love to move all my web services over from Google to DDG, especially my email. DDG could just be a front end for another provider like DDG mail powered by a trusted provider like Proton or Apple. I know I can get iCloud online but I'm used to Google ...all services provided by one provider (one place) i staunchly support.
