The title doesn't specify the perpetrator is white and doesn't mention white supremacy. It can only mean one thing, the elephant in the room, black-on-asian violence. If someone saw the video, can you please confirm my hunch?

Does black-on-asian violence have some kind of special status in comparison to black-on-any-other-skin-color violence?

It doesn't fit the white supremacist narrative. Several articles and news stories were attempting to sell violence on Asians as a result of the white supremacy / privilege, but that died down when the truth didn't fit.

At this point, Asians should stop supporting BLM. No BLM influencers (e.g. Trevor Noah) criticize blacks on Asians violence. One time they criticized is when it was white killing Asian (you can look it up). If BLM happens, Asian people, please, just be against it. Nobody would help you when you are attacked by black. Blacks do not stand with asians

Let's not play minority Olympics. Everyone's problems are equally valid and by advocating for one you're advocating for all.

I so wish American people learn a little history. Seeking narrative instead of truth always led to deceit, fiefdom, and atrocity.

Google only allows you to post videos of the right races acting violently. That's why I watched the videos of Kyle in Kenosha on YouTube, but you can't watch this mob of black people attack an Asian man. Whatever, thanks to #StopAsianHate now we're all well aware that most attacks on Asians are from blacks Ok ban me for my wrongthink @dang

I've never seen anyone get banned for any sort of political debate on this site. This is not reddit; you won't get banned for "incorrect opinions."

The whole stop asian hate hashtag is pure opportunism when it comes from a Democratic congress person. If Democrats really supported Asians they wouldn't have almost universally voted no against this recent amendment to prohibit federal funding to institutions of higher education that discriminate against Asians:

Here's the roll call for Amendment No. 1456:

A bit of a false equivalence, not to mention a tired trope

As sad as this incident is, equally sad are the comments on this post here- People who are using this incident and youtube's actions to fit their own agenda, rant against youtube (instead of addressing the real elephant- uber exploiting its drivers) and justifying their own sense of racial wrong and injustices. Nothing in the article indicates that this incident was racially motivated in any way. Grow up. Read the ar…

Check out the Op’s submission history. It is ALL articles like this.

Just an hour ago, my comment on HN linking to an Asian NFL coach being rejected for “not being the right minority” was flagged https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/05/22/eugene-chun...

Very curious who is downvoting this comment, as I’ve frequently experienced with this sort of topic, rather than providing a substantive response
