OT: why do you prefix the year with a 0?

The 5-place date is meant to draw attention to a longer view of time, a position advocated for by the Long Now Foundation.[0] [0] https://blog.longnow.org/02013/12/31/long-now-years-five-dig...

Thanks, interesting. I will of course now 1-up and use a double 00 prefix on any publicly posted dates.

Please let us know, on a percentage basis of you earnings, how much is allocated to personally managed stock portfolio?

How is that relevant?

Weren’t you pontificating on stock investment strategies? I’m going to need bonafides.

Reminiscent of the dot com boom. People said "this internet thing really looks like it's on the up and up" and they were right. What they didn't understand is that investing in 'pets.com' didn't mean they were investing in the internet. Yes the solar industry could probably go up 100x. No, the companies we're investing in today won't track that.

Ok, please put all your savings into shorting an index of all current solar companies
