The only connection seems to be that YouTube is one of the Freedom Forum Institute's corporate donors.[1] But that list also includes CBS, News Corp, NPR, SalesForce, etc.

This accusation of corruption seems like a stretch.

YT is the signature sponsor. AFAIK, the only one.
