I don't like this university ban approach. Universities are places with lots of different students, professors, and different people with different ideas, and inevitably people who make bad choices. Universities don't often act with a single purpose or intent. That's what makes them interesting. It's unfortunate that many people will get caught up in this ban that had nothing to do with it, but the university deserves to take a credibility hit here. The ball is now in their court. They need to either make things right or suffer the ban for all of their staff and students.
