Neo is your own bot who attends team meetings for you

Neo is your own bot who attends team meetings for you. In case you can't attend (maybe you're having your clavicle repaired after you crashed at le Tour),

or you could use a hand tracking issue after issue from meeting to meeting.

How do all you managerial types lurking in HN feel about it?

Managerial type here. This would be great for stand ups if it were a simple recorded video/voice and integrated with zoom or slack and joined the meeting as a person on the call. It could be command activated to play video or respond to a “Go Sarah” Siri type command.

I’d love it but I’m not sure I’d pay for just that unless it’s a one off fee I can spend discretionary (each time I buy something recurring I need to convince someone so tiny purchases are not worth it) they’d have to be other benefits.

Reducing the need for meetings might be an angle to explore. If someone created a “Udemy for my team” I’d be interested. Make it easy for any developer to share their knowledge as a course. For example I blab on what I know for an hour into a video about how x works. New starter comes in and improves it with timing annotations and a course outline. Now we have a teaching asset that might reduce the need for a technical meeting. We’ve done this but made do with zoom recording and an azure blob to host it! Could be slicker.
