This is neat. It doesn't say what amplitude is required to destroy the virus in human lung tissue or it if will damage other cells. I will poke around nih.gov. [Edit] There are many articles on using ultrasound to target viruses, cancer and more. I will try to find the most relevant ones. Most of the articles are in-vitro, of course.
Here is one [1] on disruption, but looks like they missed the frequencies found in your article that would induce destruction.
