Those numbers are very impressive. Seems like serious improvements on Windows and Android. I wonder how close the freeze-dried tabs are to the real thing.

For as popular as Chrome is, I'm surprised this post doesn't have any other comments.

According to the README document [0], it's basically a collection of Skia pictures (Chromium's binary format for Skia draw commands) and a protobuf containing the links.

Can anybody explain why Chromium tech writer chose to sprinkle "up to" everywhere in the numbers? For example: "we’ve improved browser responsiveness by up to 9%".

This makes the article so confusing to read. Does it mean browser responsiveness improved by 0.1% on average, and in some very edge case, it improved by 9%?
