That's interesting. In my case, I hardly edit urls manually in the address bar. Usually I end up on a site either by clicking on links or copying and pasting a whole url from elsewhere. So, when I click on the address bar it's almost always to copy that url. Exception may be if you are front end dev testing different paths on the browser in which case editing in the address bar could be common.

When I click the address bar it's because I want to use the current tab to visit a new page, so select-all is perfect. I think they should make this configurable though, I can see both sides of it.

Ctrl-T and start typing is much faster than mousing the cursor up to the URL bar

I feel bad for leaving Eclipse. It was exceptional at the time, with its partial-class compiler, you could execute the JUnit on it even if the rest didn’t compile, something IntelliJ still refuses.

CTRL-L and then passing the new link goes to it in the current tab.

Is that talking about the right-click menus, or something different? The right-click menus look and act native to me.

This is what the right-click menu looks like in Firefox on macOS [1]. Compared to the right-click menu from Safari on the same machine [2], you can see several differences. The most notable one is that the Firefox menu is not theme-aware, rendering a light-themed context menu even though the OS is in dark mode. Next, the padding around the menu is incorrect compared to a native menu. It also looks like the font is maybe a different size. Finally, the drill-down arrow on the Firefox menu doesn't match the native one.

You don't know about non-profit shenanigans? Ok, so, let me tell you... There are two entities: the Mozilla Foundation--which is what everyone thinks of when they hear "Mozilla" and think Mozilla is a non-profit--and the Mozilla Corporation--which is what actually comprises the bulk of Mozilla's operations. The Foundation does practically nothing. Your donations to the Foundation don't go towards development of Firef…
