This is 90c/KWh. Arguably very expensive rate for electricity. Not sure if related to the Texas/ERCOT grid situation, as the DC tie-ins are not that substantial.

I think this maps to 0.90/kwh, which is ~7x the normal retail national average of 0.13/kwh.

The scale embedded in the map maxes out at $150... So I would say it's a lot.

This is a lot. $1000/MWh is $1/kWh. A kWh is leaving 10 old school incandescent lightbulbs on for an hour. Usually this costs a few cents.

Demand, Texas isn't the only location experiencing severe cold weather that it isn't prepared for.
