#3Connect-EZ is an app/service that allows users to register with their email address and make/receive free phone calls to other users’ via their email address utilising a data connection – without an underlying phone package. This allows users to not be tied to a service provider or a number. Hopefully this will help others who have been in a similar situation. Looking for beta testers to check out and give feedback p…
* Is my data harvested?
* Do I get billed in 3 years once you have marketshare?
* Do I listen to an ad?
Bandwidth ain't free.
Or if there is a secretive business model, have a clear "free, ad-free, no data harvesting FOREVER" guarantee.

I'd want to understand long-term sustainability. * Is my data harvested? * Do I get billed in 3 years once you have marketshare? * Do I listen to an ad? Bandwidth ain't free. Or if there is a secretive business model, have a clear "free, ad-free, no data harvesting FOREVER" guarantee.
There is actually a secretive business model. Once you think about it - there's no need to harvest data, or bill consumers once we have market share. Unless the incumbents make life difficult - there's no reason why this service should not be possible.

Great questions. There is actually a secretive business model. Once you think about it - there's no need to harvest data, or bill consumers once we have market share. Unless the incumbents make life difficult - there's no reason why this service should not be possible.
- The app page clearly says "Free forever," ideally in some kind of legally-binding language
- The app page clearly says "No ads, no data harvesting, ..."
... and so on.
I think consumers have been baited-and-switched a few too many times at this point. If I'm not paying, I'm either your product, or I'm going to be up-sold later.
