Now, let's see if we can get them to stop accepting millions of tax dollars from the US military to promote violence as a career.

#6I'm OK with this. I have nothing against the National Anthem. I don't think it's appropriate to use it as a time for personal political displays, though ultimately people do have that right. I think is disrespectful of those who died to protect that right.
That aside, an NBA game is not a competition between national teams. I don't see any obligation outside of tradition to play any national anthems, and not playing it avoids unecessary distractions.

Interesting note: there is one Canadian team - the Toronto Raptors. I've been to a game between Celtics and Raptors, both US and Canada anthems were played.
