And here’s why it's a taking-off trend - - - All because occupying the same position, a website can have a drastically different CTR due to the surrounding SERP features.
CTR for position one may vary from 13.7% to 46.9%
What’s more, positions 3-5 yield a 30% higher CTR when placed above the fold.
So far, I’ve seen only a few SEO tools adopting an innovative outlook and trying to figure out possible new metrics.
