I really hate the way all SAAS Platform developers are all staring at each others graphics thinking foolishly that their customers prefer they look the same. They have this really corny unoriginal cartoony look. Apparently they never stopped to consider that everyone still uses Craigslist #1 even though it looks like it was coded in Visual Basic

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion here, but I don't think developers have to do much about deciding about design - designers do.

On the other hand, if everyone would do the craigslist 'brutalist' design you people would say the same thing - how every website looks the same. And not every website has the same target users as craiglist's.

these dumb looking blobs and those terribly disproportionate human illustrations are two of my least favorite trends in graphic design.

Really ? I love them, makes websites look really friendly.

What do you hate so much about them ?

Side note: I'm a dev and a random user of random SaaSs, not a designer.
