#2Spyder is great. With all the complexity of python dev environments (virtual env managers, package managers and then the IDE), it is nice to at least be able to provide users with a well functioning self-contained IDE that just works out of the box.

#3The link to the 'editor' page 404s. All the other stuff in here sounds pretty nice, but I'm curious how the editor experience is (or if I can use something like vim instead)

It's okay. It's a lot like RStudio and Matlab. I consider a bridge between Notebook work and IDE work.

#6The RStudio equivalent for Python. Last used this so many years ago, and from the screenshots little seems to have changed.
