Care to expand what you're talking about? The article states that a bug was exploited, but not which bug. It also stated in the article that a SolarWind's spokesperson denied it being because of them.

Probably the fact that Solarwinds clearly had no businesses being a corporate contractor, let alone a high-level government and military one.

You won’t have many corporate or government contractors left if you exclude those that are vulnerable to 0-day exploits.
