I'm a Software Engineer living in NYC. My most recent project, Haven (https://haven-secrets.github.io/), is an open-source, centralized secrets manager that protects your application secrets through a combination of encryption, access control, and injection-at-runtime. To build this project, I collaborated remotely with three other engineers, using AWS, Node/NPM, React, and Redux. You can read our case study here: https://haven-secrets.github.io/case-study.

US Citizen living in the south Pacific with 4+ years of dedicated experience looking to work remotely for web development with Python or Vue.js but preferably back end engineer of some sort.

At my current employment I work alone and without oversight to provide services and maintain legacy systems for my boss's businesses and build apps as a contractor for others. I have varied experience from building our own Netflix-clone the local ISP (internet is expensive here) to a local free-to-air linear TV channel that includes dynamic overlays (weather, news, up next segments), media management and automatic playlist solver. My current and almost done contract is a booking engine API and frontend for the gov't's tourism department.

For my personal weekend project, I've recently taken interest in computer vision/machine learning but I am far from proficient in that topic for now. Object detection and OCR is all I use in that project.
