Willing to relocate: Maybe

Technologies:

* Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP) - From 22K+ live cloud stacks, to GPU-based infrastructure automation for MedTech companies. I've done my fair share of cloud infrastructure work (Terraform/CloudFormation/Autoscaling/Kubernetes).

* Serverless (Framework, AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, GCP Cloud Functions)

* NodeJS/Meteor/SailsJS

* Go

* Crypto/Blockchain - building Crypto infrastructure (multiple Blockchains), customized libraries and APIs, as well as front-end (MetaMask) solutions.

* Wordpress/CodeIgniter/Yii/Drupal (Components, Hacks, Themes) - less motivated, unless truly cutting edge (or WP VIP projects)

* CI & Unit testing - Jenkins, Mocha & Karma for JS, Toast for PHP, as well as Selenium

* Django (general Python too) - to a lesser extent

Resume: Upon request

I am currently a senior machine learning research scientist with 3+ years of experience and a PhD in Electrical Engineering. My academic background started in the area of speech and musical audio processing, but more broadly I've applied myself as the digital signal processing field has expanded. I've worked with data ranging from neural recordings, to fingerprints, and general image classification tasks. My current role has both involved low level implementation in C/C++ as well as high level DNN training of models in Python. My time outside of my primary role focuses on overseeing a long lived open source software project, which helps keep software skills honed.

Ideally I am looking for a role which works on state of the art systems for ethically applied machine learning, DSP, and data sciences.

I've recently built an open-source framework to automate and manage review apps (isolated, ephemeral staging environments). It uses various technologies stitched together including AWS infrastructure, GitHub Actions, and client-side code with Service Workers. All of this is backed with a straight-forward CLI. For more information you can check out the beautiful case study I co-authored here with my two amazing co-engineers: https://stagehand-framework.github.io/. Happy to chat more about this project or any of my qualifications if it interests you!
