Really great write up.

I went through EF (LD12) and had a pretty similar experience, including an almost identical idea. In fact we were told by EF to reach out to you guys :)

Your point about passion being the most important thing is spot on. I think EF's method is almost too contrived

Ex co-founder chiming in: was a great experience, with all the expected highs and lows of starting up. Lots of lessons learned and the post captures some of the things we went through behind-the-scenes. Most important of all, we both look back on the experience with positive memories. Please do read!
