Re: Show HN: SharedOTP – Shared two-factor authentication mechanism
#2Hey folks, I built this tool while stepping out of my last role. I realized how weird it was to transfer over the accounts to someone else where I owned the 2FA. The only other option is to remove the two-factor authentication completely. Would love any feedback / thoughts on this.

Thanks for checking it out @cgilbert3. Yes 2FA is added security for enterprise accounts but makes sharing seats / accounts much harder. This app simplifies some of that process without compromising security.

#6You can do this in 1password using a shared vault with your TOTP secret to generate authenticated tokens. The vault can be shared with your entire team or company.
What benefit does this app provide over 1password?

Similarly, I was surprised to find that Keeper has this functionality built-in.

#9Wow! Talking about expensive services! 1Password as other noted does this and more fore less!

#10Tagline has a spelling error in it (you => your). Good luck with your venture.
