Anyway, why are you mixing up these two things?

- inciting violence at the Capitol

- claims of voter fraud.

He's been claiming voter fraud since before November 8th, and he didn't get banned then, so obviously that has nothing to do with it.

"Stop The Steal" is nowadays very specifically referring to the conspiracy theories surrounding the US November 2020 presidential election that was started by Trump supporters.

Maybe in a few years (months if you're optimist), it will be forgotten (because of these kinds of measure?) and the phrase will be allowed again.

I think a reasonable person would use "terrorist" to describe the dude running around with zip cuffs and a presumed intent to do something crazy, not the people staying inside the rope lines. The "terrorists," the "stormers," the "rioters," and the "protestors," all refer to different, and progressively larger sets of individu…

Indeed. And the three people who talked about lynching the vice president, even bringing the noose with which to do it. Terrorism seems like a perfect description for that.

Among other things, you're omitting that they beat a police officer to death. I would also be surprised if the only people who felt disturbed by this whole event were "some politicians".

Who was the police officer, and what weapon was used?

The only report of an officer down was erroneously attributed to someone beating him with a fire extinguisher. The latest information is that there was no fire extinguisher, but instead he suffered some kind of delayed reaction to a gas canister (fired by the police).

In most cases you'd be shadow-banned. (The post looks fine to you, but is invisible to everyone else.)

Or, they just put their thumbs on the scale and make sure your post isn't shown to anyone (or very few people) rather than your typical audience.

Terrorism is (roughly) defined as violent or dangerous acts by non-state actors meant to intimidate people into political or social change. That is exactly what happened on Wednesday.

You neglect to mention the people that tried to raid the corridors where high level politicians were. One of those people was shot and killed instantly, point blank, after ignoring repeated warnings from officers. Not exactly peaceful

Strictly speaking being shot by the police after repeated verbal warnings does not necessarily imply someone isn't peaceful, although in the larger context your point may stand. (It's tough to prove what a person's intentions were when they never got a chance to carry them out.)

I felt terrorized. I'd wager a lot of other ordinary people did too.

I have some experience on doing this type of work for large publications. We would always show the user their own content but would not show it to anyone else.
