But in this case it was clearly a slam against anyone who didn't vote a particular way. It wasn't just some sloppy use of language to mean "many".

Are you serious? I'm sure plenty of Nazis fuckos were very polite before they shot someone. I'm sure that by your standards that would then be fine and acceptable; so long as they said, "please take of your hat" first.

The only person shot was an unarmed protestor/rioter.

Who decides what is a lie and what is the truth? Does the intention to lie matter or is an accidental lie (e.g. a quoting mistake) an offence as well? Is telling incomplete truths or ignoring important or relevant facts lying? Is representing information in a factually correct but misleading or easy to misinterpret way lying?

You're taking the empathetic path and I wish more people did as well. I think the past 4 years were deeply traumatic for most of the progressive left. They control these institutions and they want to make damn sure Donald Trump never happens again.

If someone vastly more powerful than me doesn’t want me to know something, then it piques my interest and I seek it out.

I also have a flaw - I’m more amenable to ideas I’m familiar with.

I suspect other people act likewise.

They literally just posted on their embassy twitter account saying they fixed minority women who were "baby-making machines."

Their legal cases are not being silenced though. They've been free to submit their many lawsuits and they've been rejected for not having any legal merit.

The mainstream media gave them a platform for 5 years. When Trump announced that he was running for president, every media platform was reporting on it. We've been seeing and listening about this administration and it's supporters more than any other administration in the past. They've had a very loud voice that this week culminated on the invasion of the US Capitol. The were not squeezed out of public debate, they've had a huge platform but their arguments as of late have become violent and dangerous.

Idk if simply used by the wrong people is the right way to decide if we should ban a tool. If foreign spies use firefox and thunderbird should we fine mozilla? They might have used nike shoes to walk there after getting a flyer in the mail printed on a cannon printer using an apple computer.. etc etc.

In Facebook’s case, they specifically show you posts and news that will make you angry, since making you angry engages you more. It’s literally their business plan.
