You're proposing to remove a very large, very alienated group's last public channel to express themselves peacefully. This risks further escalation. This is compounded with the stark contrast to how the protests were handled this summer.

Things are much less likely to escalate when these groups aren't able to communicate.

I get what you're saying but the other side of the coin is maybe the society at large is rejecting them. And they need to understand that they're not guaranteed an audience, If the society at large doesn't want to listen then they'll have to sloowly try to win some support.

They seem to forget that many on the left fought tooth and nail historically for things we now consider for granted but society wasn't on board for in the past.

And maybe some ideas just aren't that appealing and they'd do better to pull other ones to advocate for.

Completely ridiculous. If a major corporation in concordance with other entities bans speech that does toe the party line - that is quite literally fascism and something straight out of 1984.

BLM and their like was burning down cities for months with support from these same corporates, and that is suddenly OK and not morally questionable because orange man bad? I'm not defending the Trumpers who stormed the capitol, but the double standards are extremely blatant.

I think companies who are operating in spaces that may be targeted for wrongthink (pornography, arms dealers, even crypto to an extent) should seriously consider contingency plans (avoid vendor/platform lock-in, have a backup progressive web app in case your app gets booted etc.) in the event the leftist/SJW/mainstream media mob targets them and kicks them off large platforms (including infrastructure - AWS/GCP/Azure is NOT safe).

I agree that information being concentrated in a few platforms is harmful. But are you saying that you are owed having your speech amplified by others?

Remember our founding fathers starting opposing media outfits to slander each other? I don't think they were willing to print each others' stories verbatim.

They are a minority. You can argue that putting them closer to the general public will normalize them, but there has been no sign of this. In fact quite the opposite. Putting them closer to the general public only simplifies recruiting. I think it is naive to assume their bubble can be forcefully diluted; at best we can take steps to stop promoting it.
