TLDR: Trust me, you don't really want a free stable RHEL clone, you want a beta version of RHEL. Oh and BTW if you do want that, we'll happily sell it to you.

It sounds like CentOS Stream will be more cutting-edge (less stable) than RHEL, but less cutting-edge than Fedora.

So what's the problem here exactly? It's definitely stupid branding, but Fedora is very stable and CentOS is often so antiquated that only an enterprise looking for strict RHEL compatibility would have a good reason to choose it. This seems good for CentOS and OSS users.
