SerpApi | https://serpapi.com | Sales Specialist | Austin, TX | Full-time | ONSITE or FULLY REMOTE AND REMOTE FIRST COMPANY ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD | $52k 1099 + profit sharing bonuses

SerpApi is the API to scrape search engine results to JSON. We are looking for people to help our customer success efforts and our sales efforts.

For the customer success position, main tasks are interacting with customers, helping them solve issues they encounter, open tickets on GitHub if it's not solvable directly, invoicing, reaching out and following up, and some sales. Experience in customer support, sales, programming, Ruby, Javascript, proxies, APIs, SaaS, B2B, or Browser Automation are not required but are definitely pulses.

For the sales position, industry experience is really appreciated! Sales side includes cold calling, cold emailing, working/reaching out with current leads, and Enterprise contract negotiation.

Awesome work environment: Our current stack is Ruby, Rails, MongoDB, and React.JS. We do continuous integration, continuous deployments, code reviews, code pairings, profit sharing, and most of communication is async via GitHub. We also value transparency, open books, profit sharing, and are a proud organizational member of the EFF.

Monograph | Senior Rails Engineer | Full-time, REMOTE in US

We do 4-day (32 hour) work weeks at Monograph, and we've been doing it for 3 years now. I believe we're one of the only companies in SV that are advocates for working less, but more productively. We only have one engineering/product meeting each week and then everything else is heads down work (or one-on-one pairing).

To learn more about our engineering culture check out our Key Values profile: https://www.keyvalues.com/monograph (Lynne is a good friend!)

We're currently looking for a senior backend engineer (ideally with some production Rails exp) that is interested in building resilient, flexible systems for a thoughtfully moving startup.

Here's the full job description: https://monograph.io/jobs/senior-rails-engineer

Reach out directly to me (head of engineering) and mention the HN post: moe at monograph dot io
