SEEKING FREELANCER. Remote worker preferable.

I'm looking for a mobile web developer to help build some basic cross platform (iOS & Android) apps. Bonus points if you have experience with Titanium or Phonegap (to wrap the web apps in a native format so they can be downloaded from the AppStore).

SEEKING WORK

Bay Area resident, camped out in Buenos Aires through May so I'm looking for remote work. (Unless you're in Buenos Aires, I'd love to work in person too!)

Most recently I have been working on JavaScript-heavy applications to facilitate in-browser user-response testing of videos, photos, and websites.

I have also been working with RabbitMQ/AMQP and node.js as tools behind another spin on "a social webapp for [x]".

SEEKING WORK - Remote preferred

(Buzzword: Data Scientist)

I'm primarily interested in freelance work, but full-time is also a possibility, and I'm willing to relocate. I'm currently in the Bay Area.

I have several years of experience in data mining, statistics, and machine learning (doing everything from quantitative trading and pricing, to building recommendation engines and mining search engines). I pick up new languages and technologies quickly, though I work primarily with Ruby, Python, Java, R, Rails, and Hadoop. To use a buzzword, you can think of me as the prototypical 'data scientist' -- I love doing everything from building dashboards to display data (Rails, Sinatra, Javascript), gathering data and cleaning it up (Ruby, Hadoop), exploring and analyzing data for patterns (R, Python), and coding machine learning algorithms for production (Java).

I agree, I prefer the old format [1]. Keeping threads separate improve the conversation and reduce the noise. is it just me?
