Former Obama administration staffer Michael Simon said that he is gathering the names of anyone who supported Trump in the 2016 and 2020 election, and has created a project for this (https://mobile.twitter.com/trumpaccproject).
This seems like the logical end of cancel culture and deplatforming, which is to assemble a list of people and organizations to target or shame or blacklist. I find this to be a very disagreeable suggestion given that people simply are exercising their constitutional and political rights and this furthers division, encourages extremism, and has a chilling silencing effect on civil discourse.
To me this reeks of authoritarian Leftism, like the violence seen in past revolutions in China or Russia. There is also a great deal of irony as well, since AOC and her supporters are certainly not calling for a blacklist of Marxists, despite Marxism being the cause of over 100M deaths in the 20th century.

I see the conspiracy theories as substitutes for more concrete reasons why people feel so divided and under attack. Recalling back to research done on conflicts between groups, the most strongest way tensions and fear are created is when people displays different symbols representing difference in values, unclear and uncertain definitions of identities and groups, and large difference in social and economic status being highly visible and displayed. Get people afraid with a strong dose of us vs them and people will latch onto any theory that will explain that emotional state regardless if some are true and some are false.
The best way to meet in the middle would be to do the opposite to those triggers and then talk to them.

Several (not all) media outlets have called the race, and it sure looks like he will; but the elections haven't yet been certified. With the coming legal challenges, it looks a lot like 2000.
