Instagram nixes the ‘recent’ tab from hashtag pages ahead of election

I was just browsing my Facebook frontpage, and I saw a post I wanted to return to...

Unfortunately, once the next page loads, that's it, it's gone forever into the ether.

I then commented in my profile that I'm continuing to avoid FB because it treats me like an idiot, like I don't know what I want, and it's up to FB to show me.

Well, then I saw this headline and couldn't avoid commenting. It's more of the same: treating users like idiots, training them to accept being treated like idiots and consumers.

Fuck that.
