One would expect the ability to download books in various formats (EPUB, TXT, etc) in a site like this from the start. Otherwise it's pretty much useless.

Just don't want to make a false promises because this is mostly a side project right now and you know how they are going. But our goal is to make a platform for authors to write, publish and sell unfinished books aka manuscript. So basically author will be able to publish two pages from a book and then write in online, discussing everything with his fan community and having controls who see a book. It will be free fo…

Describing your intent and aspirations for the project isn't the same as making a promise, but I understand that you might feel an obligation to follow through on anything you say, even if it isn't an explicit commitment. Perhaps just list your plans for the next release/milestone or two?
