Seeing durability over time would be helpful, maybe a graph or recent rating trend indicator. It’s very frustrating to buy in late to a quality product/brand just to find that have cut costs and it’s not as durable as it used to be.
Would also be great to correlate that to source establishment to help me know where it’s best to buy or find used.
Great idea! Search bar at the top isn't working for me (Chrome on macOS). When I hit return, nothing happens.
It currently doesn't show results if there is no match. I.e. if you start typing "Pata" it will suggest "Patagonia". But I must admit that this is a bad user experience, will improve it soon :)

A strong community of invested users is achieving these goals of trustworthiness on a bargains aggregator site I use. Any bs is quickly shot down by the users, typically within minutes. It is a hard crowd for someone not posting a true bargain! Great idea. I just left a review. Was asked to register after reviewing. I registered and was brought back to the product page with no review on the page. I expected the review to be posted. If it's in a moderation queue I'd expect to see a message indicating that's the case. And if the review didn't get saved I probably wouldn't leave another one.
Did you add a review or just a comment? Signup is indeed required for write-operations, but it should bring you back to the product page with the pre-filled comment. Will look into that later, thanks for reporting :)

Interesting, I hope you are onto something! How would you prevent me from taking some $ from Corporate to write a genuine sounding but heavily biased review? I am not trying to be snarky, but in my understanding that is exactly how micro-influencing on Instagram etc. works and IMO its very dangerous for your value proposition.

As others have pointed out, once you gain traction, fake reviews are going to be a big problem. It seems like the solution to that is moving towards a more "Rotten Tomatoes" style system, where only the established experts give feedback. This might start as having two ratings - "experts" and "community", but I expect you would quickly find the "expert" rating to be much more useful to people.
