#2No open-source command line option, e.g. GraphViz?
I would prefer to have local control of data, Git SCM, editing with my favorite text editor, etc.
Any tool suggestions subject to the above constraints? Bonus points for smooth Org Mode integration in Emacs.

#3I’m surprised SimpleMind didn’t make the list. I’ve tried a quite a few mind mapping tools and SimpleMind seems to be the most consistent across platforms; it has one of the best touch UIs I’ve come across on any platform; data is pretty easy to import/export and it syncs with most cloud providers out of the box; they don’t nickel and dime you with subscriptions; and they deliver consistent upgrades and useful features.

#6XMind.net works on nearly all major PC and mobile platforms, especially Linux.
And haven’t looked back since 2008.
