Building an IIoT conveyor-belt model and incident simulation

I am blogging about building an IIoT factory model with hardware and sensors and a simulator. I am using a Raspberry Pi running an HTTP API inside local wifi and a couple of sensors and hardware (Arduino stuff, Home IoT devices). I wanna get into robot arms next and hook up more sensors. I am looking for additional ideas, anyone involved in IIoT projects or managing factory machinery? Or anyone else with ideas?
