My problem with Uniqlo is that they changes cuttings, Materials and some other minor details all while showing the same label. So they will look 95% the same, even material is pretty much the same.... but it is still "different". I have been wearing Uniqlo t-shirts most days for the last few years. The codes change regularly on those. I have a few from a version where the bottom hem is always curling up on itself. The rest of them just hang straight and flat...

I also have some Uniqlo underwear that changed code where the old ones fit well and the new ones didn't.

I'm still a happy customer, but it does mean that I have to be a little cautious about buying 5 more of something just because my previous experience with it was good.

Economically Japan is the most stable country in the world, and the Yen is the number 1 safe haven currency.

Regarding long hours, some Chinese co's use the 996 system, 9am-9pm, 6 days a week. This is one of the many reasons for their 7% increase in GDP YoY.

The 4 day work week in the West would simply cement the current idea of Western laziness (not necessarily unwarranted unfortunately).

Don't worry, its going hard the other direction, based on what the average school teacher says who's in their 20s and 30s.

I wish that were true. If it were, one would expect to see some results outside the classroom. Are we fighting fewer stupid wars? I don't think we can say that yet.

It's only happened in the past 5-10 years, so all the people who have received a very leftist narrative of history are children right now.
