This site is for dingdongs

Is HN the right place to post website configuration errors? I'd email security@ before posting here, so that they can read and fix it. It's highly unlikely that someone in the position to fix this will see this on HN before they see it in their email, and now in addition to fixing the issue they have to read and triage 100s of emails from people on HN that are escalating the issue through support/security@/etc.
